New Legend: Valkyrie

After last season’s Zero Crisis, a large tower, The Spire, emerged from the center of the Island. We’re not certain of its power, but there are Guardian Towers nearby that have been affected.
As Respawn says, “Bold, brash, fiery and fierce, Kairi Imahara grew up in the shadow of her father’s legacy. But now she’s ready to launch her own.”
Kairi Imahara is the true legend of Season 9’s Legacy. She joins Apex as a winged avenger.

New Weapon: Bocek

The Bocek is a precision hunting bow, designed to deliver maximum damage with the right charge. Holding fire will draw the bow, which directly increases the power of your shot. Max power offers devastating damage and firing speed. If you’re able to fire the Bocek as soon as it reaches max power, you’ll make it out of any battle alive. Once you’ve practiced your technique, of course.
Note that the Bocek does not use traditional ammo. Instead, the Bocek uses Arrows, which are unique. While Arrows are rare on the battlefield, they stick into surfaces, and can be picked up for later use. If you fire your arrows, and you have a chance, make sure to restock by reclaiming your ammo before leaving your territory!
New Game Mode: Arenas

Epic Games is known for their innovative approach toward battle-royale games, and their newest game mode, Arenas, is drumming up lots of hype.
Arenas is a more chaotic, higher-stakes version of Apex, with a 3-vs-3 combat gameplay mechanic, meant to stir up the competition. How you win? It’s simple. Just eliminate your enemies.
To make the gameplay even more exciting, Epic has developed new custom maps, perfectly suited for 3-on-3 combat. Before being deployed to their Arena, squads are able to pick and choose their preferred weapons, gear, and abilities. The first team to win three rounds is declared the victor. In the case of a tie, you can look forward to Sudden Death.
New Map Updates: Olympus

This season, unidentified ships have made their way to Olympus and brought a parasite with them. As the plant takes root along the surface of the map, the map has continued to change and grow with the parasite.
The Icarus, the lead ship, has docked with Olympus, and changed the landscape completely. The new drop location is between Bonsai Plaza, Solar Array, and Orbital Cannon. In the totaled ship, you’ll find four large rooms, and lots of loot.
As you determine your drop strategy, consider landing at The Icarus. To get the most out of your territory, run through the spine of the ship and hide along the nooks and crannies to ambush your enemies within its tight spaces.
New Features: Emotes

Emotes are a new way to gloat, celebrate, or just have fun. Every legend comes with their own Emote, and additional Emotes can be unlocked by crafting or getting Apex Packs.
Because Emotes provide a third-person view of your character, however, Apex realized that these could provide an unfair advantage to players. For this reason, Epic decided to roll out a new Anti-Peek feature, which prevents players from being able to use Emotes to look beyond the viewpoint of their character.
